YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy notice

Operator: Jack Thomson, trading as TRP / The Russian Plague. Privacy and deletion requests: [email protected]. Last updated 8 October 2026.

Your household plan

Household-plan details stay in your browser. They are not sent to our servers. Saving on the device is optional; anyone using that browser may be able to read a saved plan. Copying, downloading or sharing a plan happens only when you choose the corresponding action.

What we collect

Email subscriptions store your address, consent, preferences and delivery status. Browser alerts store a push endpoint and device keys. Contact submissions store your email, subject and message. Private administration uses a secure session cookie. Abuse prevention uses a short-lived hashed network identifier.

Purpose and controls

We use subscription information to deliver the independent updates you requested, based on consent. Unsubscribe or change preferences using your email link; revoke browser alerts in device settings or on Alerts. Contact information is used to respond to enquiries and investigate corrections. You may request access, correction, deletion or withdraw consent by email.

Storage and service providers

Application data is stored in PostgreSQL on Hetzner infrastructure in Helsinki, Finland. Cloudflare provides DNS, HTTPS, network protection and the connection to our server. These providers process requests needed to serve the site. Email delivery is not currently enabled; this notice will identify the delivery provider before email alerts are activated.

Retention

Expired tokens and rate-limit records are cleaned automatically. Delivery records and resolved enquiries are retained for the configured operational period, initially 90 days. Unsubscribed addresses may be retained in minimal suppression records to prevent unwanted delivery. Published evidence and correction history are retained for transparency.

Advertising

Advertising is currently disabled. Google advertising requires site approval, a consent configuration and an updated notice describing the actual providers and cookies before activation. No advertising payment details are collected by this website.
